In a Grove is simply amazing. The last main character, Takehiko, lies that he committed suicide on his statement through a medium.
I like the unique and creative premise of the story. People who read this story also read: The second main character, Masago betrays her husband, Takehiko. All in a short story of about thirty pages. Little did I expect that he would meet such a fate.
The book is a very short, easy read, based on the simple premise that each person remembers things slightly differently, and has a different perspective on life. I also did not like how casually the subject of rape was treated.
